An improvised, street performance exploring the connection with strangers and what happens when there is contact or the lack of acknowledging each other's presence. Every encounter was steered by consent, distance, and intuition, as presence and absence danced around a bucket of water and a scatter of flowers—sometimes offered, sometimes kept, sometimes received. Strangers, unaware, became fleeting co-creators, stepping into a choreography that could never be repeated. In the end, what lingers is the space that remains, and the quiet resonance of having truly been seen.

DANCE FOR TWO

Dance For Two is a dance presentation marking the ten years of the Inkorpora Dance Project, founded by Silvia Verges, weaving Ballet, Contemporary, Argentinian Tango, Lindy Hop, and Brazilian Zouk into one continuous story. Moving between styles, a single thread emerged — the passage of time, generations, and what gets passed from one dancer to the next. Recorded and live music carried the evening forward, closing with the performers themselves in conversation.

DETACHMENT

Detachment was an introspective work into the inherent wisdom and strength embodied within the menstrual cycle. This performance was my bridge and my process to heal my complex relationship with my own menstruation. I also wanted to invite the audience to confront prevailing stigmas, and question why menstruation remains a marginalized experience.

BORDER_SHIFT

A dance performance built on real-time 3D tracking, where a computer maps each dancer's body and translates it into shapes, lines, and shading projected live — the stage itself becoming a responsive digital environment. The tracking system gave the piece its name, and its theme: borders — where one body's edge meets another's, where trespassing becomes sharing, where crossing space becomes crossing something larger. The mapping shaped the choreography as much as the choreography shaped the mapping, tracing unexpected, drawing-like patterns from the dancers' own motion. What happens when the sixth dancer isn't human? A performance by Dance Compound based in Aachen, Germany.

UNCANNY VALLEY

A piece exploring what it means to live inside algorithmic worlds — digital spaces that quietly entangle with our longings, dreams, hopes, and fears. Choreographed by Lin Verleger for the Schrittmacher Just Dance! Festival and Berliner Festspiele's Tanztreffen der Jugend, with performances in Heerlen, Kerkrade, and Cologne. The line between performer and audience dissolved, pulling everyone into one unfolding story — body percussion by Jimi Renfro, group work, duets, and solos, including a short solo I developed with an apple, guided by Lin. An attempt to restore balance in a digital age, one body at a time.
