Kaks Kaja — Doble Eco — Double Echo. The echo of two worlds attempting to reach each other.
About the conversations that get lost in translation. The ones without subtitles or interpreters. The raw, explorative exchanges that happen between people who speak different languages.
But are languages ever completely stand-alone? Or are they breathing, living things — longing to touch the roots of another, morph into something new, bridge worlds. Re-create history.
Rooted in flamenco and ballet — two movement languages with their own histories, their own pride, their own silences — Kaks Kaja asks what happens when they meet. Not to merge, but to listen.
A piece where language is a physical experience. A body experience. Wanting to be seen, heard, understood.

About Marita Weinrank
Marita Weinrank is a professional ballet dancer and teacher. Gold medallist at the Grasse Ballet Competition and a Youth America Grand Prix finalist in New York, she is also known for her work as a demi-soloist at the Estonian National Ballet.
