A solo work that carries flamenco from the classroom into the spotlight for the first time, merging it with the pulse of contemporary dance. Music is nearly absent: only breath, the sharp punctuation of zapateado, and a cante, in the form of an invitation, slicing through the darkness. Light sketches the palos, following a body as it ventures into unknown terrain. Kaja was the result of the summer residency granted by Humina ry in June 2026. Mentor: Heli Keskikallio.
