About Fragmentos
Fragmentos is a live interactive street performance involving dance, movement and dialogue. The performance reflects on the fluidity of our connections and the act of giving. 💐 With flowers as a tangible form of existence, they are used as a a symbolic form of all the pieces/experiences that we are made off. The contrast between real and artificial flowers represents the authentic and inauthentic parts we share/show/give in our interactions. The use of water (minimal amount to avoid waste and ensure sustainability) in the performance is used as a metaphor for cleansing, calming, and revitalizing - emphasizing its essential role in sustaining life and emotional well-being. This is an honest dialogue with the public and it hopes to evoke an emotional and philosophical reflection on the nature of human connections, giving, and emptiness. This piece requires minimal technical support.
