BORDERLAND

Borderland was a interdisciplinary project, in where we, the dancers, were not the only performers, but a three-dimensional mapping of space through a real-time 3D modeling joined our ensemble of dancers. The reaction and transformation from this digital dimension blurred the lines between the tangible and the ethereal. This research was an exploration of the symbiotic relationship between the human body, physical space, and the virtual world by Compound Company, an Aachen based contemporary and urban dance company.
